LINK SETUP:

How are links set up?
After submitting your application to the Protect-a-Bub Affiliate Program, you will recieve your log in information which will allow access to banners and buttons text links that will contain special URLs that will allow you to link to our site. *Even simple text links under the right condition can generate as much traffic as a banner- the text link could say, "This is a great site offering protection for babies and toddlers", etc...if you choose to alter the wording of the text links provided for you, we must approve of it first.

Can I have more than one link on my website?
You may have as many affiliate links on your website as you would like. Keep in mind that the more sales you drive to our site, the more commission you will make. The only requirement is that you set up the links using the banners, buttons, or text that we provided you when you signed up.

Where should my links be placed?
Links should be placed where they are easy for customers to find. This makes it more likely they will click through to Protect-a-Bub and make a purchase. Consider placing links on your homepage, your navigation bar, or other high-traffic areas.

Can I list Protect-a-Bub products, images, or prices?
Absolutely not. Any discounts or special prices we offer may be for a limited time only. Product availability can also lead to changes in prices or discounts. Images and text are solely the property of Protect-a-Bub and may not be used without our written consent. Please use only the banners, buttons, or text that we provide you with the Protect-a-Bub Affiliate Program.

How often should I update my links?
Update links when you feel editing or moving the links will fit the interests of your viewers. If new products become available we will notify you by email with new link instructions.

PAYMENT, TRACKING AND REPORTING:

How much is my commission and when do I get paid?
Commission is 15% for all purchases made that are generated from the link on your website. Our payment minimum is 50.00. We pay out commissions when it accumulates to 50.00 or more for the month. For example, if you begin in February 1st or any day up to the end of the month, which is February 28 and your commission accumulated to 50.00 or more, your payment for February commission will be sent April 1. If you do not reach the 50.00 minimum in February, what you did make will then carry over into March. If your total for February and March meet the minimum 50.00, we will send that check out June 1. We send payments a month behind to ensure any product returns that need to be deducted from that months commission.

Can I use my own link to make a purchase?
Yes. We encourage you to use your links for your own purchases. You will even receive commissions on these purchases, provided you are using the URLs we gave you when you signed up. In effect, you will save 15% off of all your purchases!

How much can I earn?
We are unable to determine how much commission you can earn. It will depend on your website, link visiblity, and your customers.

How do I know when my link generates a sale on your website?
You can log in to your affiliate account with your unique user name and password at any time and check the status of your account. A purchase from your site may not show up on your status page right away. The order must be processed first and then your commission will be allocated. If we get an order that is paid by check, that check must clear first before the commission is allocated to you. You may also make any update your account information such as email address, mailing address, etc, in your affiliate account area

What about product returns?
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed as the result of a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. Because our commission payment is held back a month, we avoid the confusion of deducting returns from future commission payments.

Who will process the orders, ships, and fullfills customer service needs?
We do! We handle the complete order when we receive it! All you have to do is post the links on your site that generates the sale!

How will you know that the orders came from my site?
All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier. The identifier enables us to credit you when a visitor who comes to us via your site makes a purchase.

How often can I run reports?
As often as you like. Sales statistics are updated daily.

I operate more than one Web site. Can you track my sites separately but pay me with one commission check?
Yes. You would open an affiliate account for each site but you must use the same name for each account You can then create links and generate reports specifically for each site, but you'll receive one commission check for all your sites.

What happens if I terminate my Affiliate membership? Will I be paid for my earnings if they don't meet your minimum payment?
Yes, but you must notify us of your request so that we can manually include your payment with those generated automatically at the end of the month.

How do I get started?
